2-1-1- Helpline call specialists are standing by 24 hours a day to connect people living in thirty-seven counties in eastern Oklahoma to needed services and assistance. In 2012 we responded to over 150,000 calls for help in addressing a wide variety of critical needs.Using a database of thousands of community and government services, we can identify the best solution to each callerís problem. 2-1-1 Helpline is accredited by the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) and the Oklahoma 2-1-1 Collaborative, and is a program of the Community Service Council (CSC), a United Way member agency.
The 2012 2-1-1 Day event on February 11th was fun for all, and raised money to help us respond to the increasing volume of calls. Sincere thanks to our generous sponsors, El Guapo Cantina and the Dust Bowl in Tulsa's Blue Dome District--and to the many supporters who participated.
Also, please consider making a donation to help keep 2-1-1ís call responses fast and effective. We hope to receive many gifts of $211 in honor of 2-1-1 Day, but we greatly appreciate support at any level. You may contribute online at www.211tulsa.org.
