The Community Service Council
touches Tulsa!
The Community Service Council of Greater Tulsa provides leadership for community-based planning and
action to address important issues affecting the lives of people in the Tulsa area.
The Community
Service Council brings Tulsa together
to address our communitys social and health challenges,
assist people affected by them, mobilize resources,
and link people with the help they need.
Prevention
is the Council's guiding principle. All of the Council's
activities are guided by a long-range plan, with goals focusing on desired community
outcomes. To achieve its goals, the Council applies its functions
including research, planning, community education and mobilization, information
and referral, promoting
volunteerism, and shaping public policy -- and sponsors or is a lead partner in a wide variety
